Small Groups
At On Mission Church, our passion is for you to grow in your relationship with God, and live in an authentic community with others. We believe the best way to accomplish that is through our small group ministry. We offer two kinds of small groups (see below):
Deeper Groups
Our Deeper Groups are designed as an “on-ramp” to our small group ministry. These are short-term groups that study a specific topic for 8-12 weeks. These groups help to grow deeper with God and develop deeper relationships with others. The ultimate goal for Deeper Groups is to serve as a bridge into a long-term Journey Group.
Journey Groups
Our Journey Groups are designed to be long term for people to journey together for longer than one semester. These relational groups commit to at least one year, do ministry projects together, and study multiple topics. We believe that true life change will take place with a small group over a longer period of time.
We want your kids to LOVE church! Every Sunday all children (newborns through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are passionate about kids learning about Jesus in On Mission Kids.
Your First Visit
On Mission Kids meets during the same time as the adult service. When you arrive you can take your children to our ‘Kid’s Area’ for ‘check-in.’ After you check them in, you’ll be given a sticker that you will use after service to pick your child up. We take the safety of our children very seriously. Each team member is trained and has a background check. Our promise to you is that they will be well cared for and safe while you enjoy the service.
Creative & Age Appropriate
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We try our very best to bring the story to life through activities that keep your children engaged. We want all children to love God, love His Word, and understand the value of applying what He says to their lives.
Our classrooms and lessons are created in an age-appropriate way that your child will understand and retain. We are passionate about kids learning this way. When we can make a connection with their developmental stage, it does amazing things for how they relate to one another and to God.
On Mission Students
As a church, we are creating a family that students can belong to! Students who call On Mission Church home are involved in everything we do. They serve. They give. They play a part. It’s what family does! Our students are a huge part of leading in our church and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
6th - 12th grade meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evening of each month. If there is a 5th Sunday, we take that opportunity to have some fun together! The location and activities vary but dinner is always provided.
